Fragrance notes
Character
Rose shows up twice, once bright and fruity at the top next to peach and pineapple, then again in the heart alongside iris, softer and dustier the second time. That repetition is the whole structure: the same flower reintroduced through a different lens as the fragrance moves along, lilac and lily-of-the-valley filling in the gaps between the two versions of rose.
Sandalwood, amber and musk take the peach and apricot from the top and turn them creamy in the base, a lactonic, milky warmth that's also where the fragrance holds firm on skin, slow to let go once it settles, felt by whoever's close enough to lean in and notice, a quiet presence rather than a loud one. Heliotrope adds one more powdery layer just underneath the amber.
Fall and winter are when it performs best, the powdery amber and iris feeling right against cold, dry air, and it carries nicely into spring too when the peach and apricot can shine a little more. It's an old-school, feminine fragrance built on rose and powder, a good fit for someone who already loves classic perfumery and less interested in anything sharp or modern.
