What we do

You describe a mood, a memory or a season in plain words. Sillage reads that description and matches it against more than 100,000 designer and niche fragrances, ranking each by how closely it fits. Every match comes with its notes, community ratings, longevity and sillage scores, and season fit, so you can decide before you buy.

Why you can trust it

The scores aren't ours to invent. Longevity, sillage and projection come from thousands of real wearers, and every rating shows the number of votes behind it, so you can weigh it yourself. Matches are ranked by how closely a fragrance fits what you described, not by who paid to be there. When a link takes you somewhere to buy, we say so on our affiliate disclosure page.
