Jasmine sambac carries almost the entire opening by itself, thick and slightly animalic, before cashmeran folds in a soft amber warmth through the heart. Amber closes it out low and resinous, sitting under the floral rather than beside it. It is long-lasting on skin, and the sillage leaves a trail, so a single spray at dusk usually carries a full evening out.

Picture a fur coat left near a warm radiator, that particular blend of skin, wool and heat, and you are close to what this smells like once it settles. The powdery floral feels warmer and stranger than most white florals, with the animalic edge giving the jasmine a raw quality most florals never reach for. Cashmeran adds a soft amber depth underneath, holding the whole thing together without letting it turn light.

It comes into its own once the weather turns cold, worn after dark, somewhere it has room to fill the air properly. It makes no attempt to blend into a crowd of other white florals, and the animalic base is exactly why.

Anyone drawn to florals with an edge, something a little feral under the perfume, will find plenty here to hold onto.
