Mavroki

Mavroki relies on Daz to show the powdery, sweet and woody register that runs through the range. Amber and cedar sit at the base of the compositions, giving the sweetness a dry, woody structure that prevents the powder from feeling light. Bergamot appears at the top of many of the fragrances, adding a bright citrus edge that cuts through the heavier materials. Jasmine brings a white floral aspect that sits between the citrus and the base, linking the fruitier touches to the amber. The result is a set of compositions that stay within a narrow band of soft, sweet woods while allowing citrus and floral accents to shift the mood. The house does not move far from this core, so each release feels like a variation on the same theme rather than a departure into new territory.
